 Did you know that some heat exchangers on the market are prone to corrosion, or require sacrifical anodes to stop corrosion of your engine and your heat exchanger simply because of the material they are made from? GLIND heat exchangers are made from a co-polymer glass filled nylon 66, the same material used to make the top and bottom radiator tanks, so due to the much lower surface area of copper, corrosion problems are non existant and annodes are not required. Buy quality, buy a Glind and you’ll have many years of hassle free showering.

These upgraded GLIND heat exchangers come with 1/2″ BSPP DR Brass fittings on the shower outlet ports to allow John Guest fittings to be screwed onto. This unit is suitable for campervans, motorhomes, boating and custom fit outs.

For compatibility and ease of use, the engine coolant side is 5/8″ barb which is the most common heater hose size. This allows the heat exchanger to be placed in line or hidden so that the outlet of the fresh water delivery hose can be run straight to a shower, sink, or to an external shower connector fitting at the front or rear of a vehicle.

The Glind heat exchanger as it sits on the mount bracket, measures 335 mm long and is 105 mm high. Remember to add a little on each end to accommodate for hoses. The beauty of this heat exchanger is that it can be mounted horizontally or vertically so fitting becomes simpler. If you need a tight hose bend on the ends, use the pre-moulded heater hose, also available from Glind.

The Glind heat exchangers are sealed units, so the brass fittings CANNOT be changed or altered otherwise your warranty will be voided.

Comes with the standard mount plate, spacers, nuts and bolts, so it is ready to fit.
